The Railway Museum in the engine shed at Vallgatan 41 in Skara is open during the day on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer traffic season, as well as before traffic days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Admission is free, but donations to the association are gratefully accepted during visits.

The collection consists of a varied assortment of vehicles and objects from railway environments in and around Skaraborg during the narrow-gauge era.

You’ll have the opportunity to climb into the cab of a steam locomotive and try out the bicycle and pump track inspection trolleys.
